When printing monolithic large items, the quality and accuracy of small details are also significantly deteriorated. And the source material is slightly “lucky” due to prolonged heating.

The main countries-manufacturers of devicesfor 3d-printing today are the United States and China. Traditionally, the Celestial Empire copies American developments, calling them by their own name. The quality of such copies, in general, leaves much to be desired.

If we talk about the simplest professional 3D printers, the price for them does not exceed 5000 dollars. Among them, the undisputed sales leader is MakerBot. The latest model MakerBot Replicator 2x is able to print from two heads at once, using plastic, for example, PLA and ABS.As for professional 3d-printers for the industrial segment (price from 100 thousand dollars), and in this case the leader in production is the United States of America.

However, delivery to Ukraine of a 3D printer from China or the USA is problematic due to complicated and expensive customs procedures. At customs clearance will have to pay an additional 30% of thecost of 3d printer, which is extremely unprofitable to quickly achieve profitability of production. By the way, the stated delivery time of the 3d-printer – 15-17 days, but, as practice shows, waiting for such an order often takes from two to three months.

On forums you can find detailed descriptions of “workarounds” that allow you to reduce customs duty by 10%, but in this case there is a risk of not having a 3D printer at all, having already paid an advance payment, or to stretch the waiting period up to six months!

It costs about 50,000 dollars, and prints geometric models of any size (within the size of the working chamber) without loss of accuracy! This printer has excellentcolor reproduction. The MakerBot Replicator 2 prints 30 percent faster than the previous generation of 3d printers. You can use up to 6 colors of PLA plastic to print on it for now, but the model’s capabilities will expand. In addition, this 3d-printer is easy to use.
