WORLD TRADITION, "SELECTED RECIPES AND THE BEST TRADITIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD"
Background
A major producer of alcoholic beverages in Russia – SK Rodnik LLC, produces a lot of strong alcohol not only for the majority of Russian regions and products for export to such countries as Armenia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Latvia, Germany, Mexico and the USA. In addition, it creates local vodka brands for Samara and the Samara region. One of the new vodka brands from SK Rodnik LLC is vodka “World Tradition”.
Task
The project envisaged the development of a series of vodkas “World Tradition” for fans of traveling across the vast expanses of Russia, European countries and the mysterious eastern land. For the young at heart consumer, with youthful maximalism and a soul wide open. A memorable logo, colorful label design and bottle closure options had to be developed.
Project execution
Step 1: Analyze the Market Samara vodka market
The first stage of work on the project was a marketing research of the vodka market in Samara and Samara region, analyzing consumers and competitors. Based on the results of the research, the following brand positioning ideas were chosen: drinking traditions, vodka making traditions, and traveling traditions. For each concept, several variations of identifying elements were proposed (eventually – a bowl, ears of wheat and a balloon were chosen).

The brand’s legend was developed: “For centuries people have been going on journeys to distant countries in search of adventure and new taste sensations. Vodka “World Traditions” opens the veil of secrets, and gives you fascinatingly extraordinary taste qualities of vodka”.
Result
The result was an original vodka brand that stands out favorably on the shelf. Such an unusual and distinctive product quickly resonated with the target audience and was recognized by the consumer, as evidenced by high sales and growing popularity of the brand.
