Nowadays, more and more consumers are experimenting with different alcoholic beverages rather than remaining committed to one. This fact explains the increase in sales of beer and spirits in recent years. But wine still has a bright future thanks to its loyal fans.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong>fourth place<\/strong> is <strong>tequila<\/strong>. It&#8217;s been said that all whiskey drinkers drink tequila too, they just don&#8217;t know it yet. Brands like Patr\u00f3n and Casamigos have helped change the way consumers think about the Mexican spirit. The new idea is to think of tequila as a whiskey that you can pour neatly into a glass and enjoy the smoothness and complexity of flavors.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fifth place<\/strong> is <strong>vodka. <\/strong>It remains a difficult category to define. On the one hand, sales growth was relatively flat in 2016. On the other hand, vodka still accounts for 33.7% of all alcoholic beverage sales, more than any other category.
